I'm an older farm lady, and I've raised my own turkeys for years. We had trouble with coyotes for the last few years, so I've given turkey husbandry a break.
I bought my first Butterball and immediately noticed major differences. The most alarming changes were in taste and texture. It tasted more like a chicken. That's scary!
While the meat was juicier, it was dramatically mushier. I called to ask what they put in this turkey, and they would not tell me. I have a right to know what I am buying and putting into my body. I know you must have a chemical cocktail of some sort to produce such drastic and unnatural changes.
Your definition of "all natural" does not abide well with mine at all.
What is Butterball hiding? It makes me wonder if they're using known carcinogens.
